Your Role at St John of God Geelong Hospital

We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Emergency Medicine Consultants (FACEM) to join our Emergency Department on a fixed-term basis to provide leave cover, with the potential for some positions to transition into permanent roles.

Multiple opportunities are available, totalling up to 2.0 FTE, with flexibility to appoint one or more successful candidates. Appointment durations and FTE allocations will be determined in line with departmental requirements and service needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic, collaborative, and supportive Emergency Department, where you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care while further developing your clinical, leadership, teaching, and quality improvement interests.

You will be a Fellow of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or have equivalent professional membership and have demonstrated substantial clinical experience in the management of high acuity patients in a complex hospital environment.

You will demonstrate the ability to build a collaborative team in the delivery of high-quality specialist medical care, including driving clinical quality initiatives.

- Highly competitive remuneration package of $384,257 - $480,321 + 12% superannuation (pro rata for part-time appointments)
