About The Role
Calvary Riverina Private Hospital is seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse to join our Orthopaedic Perioperative team. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role within a specialised surgical and acute care environment, supporting high-quality patient outcomes and clinical excellence.
Working closely with the Clinical Manager and multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership, mentorship and support to nursing staff while ensuring best practice standards are upheld across the ward. You will play a key role in fostering a collaborative and patient-focused culture within the unit.

Your main duties will include:
Provide clinical leadership and support to the Level 3 Urology teamCoordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centred careSupport the Clinical Manager in developing and maintaining sound clinical practices, policies and proceduresMentor and support Registered, Enrolled,
Graduate and Student NursesLiaise effectively with Visiting Medical Officers and the broader multidisciplinary teamPromote a culture of clinical excellence, safety and continuous improvementEnsure adherence to relevant clinical standards, policies and evidence-based practice
About You
Current AHPRA Nursing RegistrationMinimum two (2) years post graduate nursing experience in an acute hospital settingDemonstrated clinical experience within surgical nursing, ideally within urology or related specialtiesStrong understanding of contemporary nursing practice and patient-centred careProven ability to lead, support and engage multidisciplinary teamsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
