About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to support strategic and operational transformation initiatives across Asset Management, IT Service Management and Enterprise Collaboration. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and executives to define business requirements, improve processes, identify opportunities for optimisation and support the successful delivery of technology-enabled business outcomes. This role requires robust analytical, stakeholder engagement and facilitation capabilities, with demonstrated experience working across complex enterprise environments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead business discovery workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagements.
- Elicit, analyse, document and validate business, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop business cases, process maps, user stories, use cases and requirements specifications.
- Facilitate prioritisation of requirements and management of scope throughout project lifecycles.
- Bridge communication between business and technical teams to support successful solution delivery.
- Undertake gap analysis, impact assessments and business process improvement activities.
- Analyse and improve Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes and practices.
- Support initiatives involving asset lifecycle management, asset planning and maintenance, work management, asset performance and reliability, asset registers, data quality, governance and compliance.
- Assist in defining future-state asset management operating models and processes.
- Support implementation or optimisation of asset management platforms such as IBM Maximo, SAP EAM, Infor EAM, Technology One or similar solutions.
About you
- 7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within complex enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering business and technology transformation initiatives.
- Strong experience in Asset Management and/or IT Service Management environments.
- Experience working on digital workplace, enterprise collaboration or Microsoft 365 initiatives.
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Strong business requirements gathering and analysis capabilities.
- Business process modelling experience using BPMN or equivalent.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience undertaking gap analysis and impact assessments.
- Mandatory: Current Australian Government NV2 Security Clearance or higher (PV clearance preferred).
