About the Role

We're looking for a enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to support both our back-of-house baking team and our front-of-house service crew. No experience? No problem. If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you.

Back-of-House Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing, mixing, and assembling baked goods under the guidance of senior bakers
- Portion ingredients and keep all kitchen stations clean and well-stocked
- Label, pack, and display products
- Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards

Front-of-House Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and offer product recommendations
- Operate the POS system (training provided)




- Pack takeaway orders and manage front-of-house stock
- Keep the shop clean, tidy, and welcoming

Skills & Requirements

- Passion for food and a genuine interest in baking
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work early mornings and weekends
- Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet
- Experience in a bakery, café, or hospitality is a bonus — not essential
