Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Participate in an 18-month full-time leadership development program at a Marriott International managed hotel.
- Engage in hands-on, discipline-specific training combined with a leadership-focused curriculum.
- Take part in mini-rotations across various hotel disciplines such as Accounting & Finance, Culinary, Engineering, Event Operations, Food & Beverage Operations, Human Resources, Revenue Management, Rooms Operations, Sales & Marketing, Information Technology, and Residences.
- Build customer relationships and champion innovation within the organization.
- Manage projects and people, improve processes, and pitch new initiatives through a Voyage project.
- Participate in management meetings and collaborate with Voyage participants worldwide to solve challenges and offer creative solutions.
- Provide feedback on the curriculum to influence future Voyage hires’ experiences.
About You
The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Graduated from a university or hotel school within the past year (or expected graduation within 12 months of application).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education required (Associates degree acceptable for Culinary).
- Superior critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to foster relationships and work collaboratively.
- Self-management skills and being a self-starter.
- Strong desire for personal and professional growth.
- Work authorization in the country of application (local citizen or permanent resident).
Career Progression
Upon completion of the Voyage program, graduates are well-prepared to pursue supervisory or entry-level management roles within Marriott, having built a foundation for future leadership.
