Join Our Team: Finance & Administration Officer

4-5 Days Per Week (Flexible Hours Available) | Immediate start available

Are you an experienced Finance and Administration Officer who loves numbers, values accuracy, and enjoys working in a friendly, supportive environment? We're looking for someone just like you to join our team at the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron.

This role is central to keeping our Club running smoothly behind the scenes – you'll be handling day-to-day financial operations and payroll, supporting both staff and members alike.

What You’ll Be Doing:

· Financial Control: Manage GL, daily/monthly reconciliations, BAS, PAYG, and fixed assets.

- Month-End & Analysis: Prep journals, accruals, and P&L; reviews. Analyse budget variances and F&B; labour costs.

- Payroll: Handle end-to-end processing via Xero, award compliance, super, and payroll tax.

- Systems & Processes: Serve as our Xero expert, assist with software integrations (Marina Master, MiClub, Deputy), and automate manual tasks.

About You:





Solid grounding in bookkeeping and accounting with a Diploma or equivalent; industry experience.

- Xero skills and experience integrating third-party apps.

- Solid grasp of payroll, awards, and compliance.

- Analytical mindset—you look beyond data entry to spot trends and efficiencies.

- Great communication skills to collaborate with department heads and club members.
