Job Description

A unique part-time (minimum guarantee 30 hours per week) opportunity as Housekeeping Team Leader has become available in our housekeeping leadership team.

Some of the things you'll be doing include;

- Lead, motivate and support housekeeping team members during daily operations.
- Allocate room assignments and monitor productivity to ensure efficient workflow, opening and closing shifts.
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure quality standards are consistently met to brand standards.
- Assist with training, coaching, and onboarding of recent team members.
- Support the Housekeeping Manager with rostering, attendance management, and operational planning.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Manage guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with linen, amenities,



and chemical inventory control.
- Support the team during peak periods and maintain a positive, high-performing work environment.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and exceptional service.
- Assisting the Housekeeping Management team in the day-to-day operations of all areas of the Housekeeping department.
- Communicating on a daily basis with the Housekeeping Management team and respective departments to ensure an effective flow of communication.
- Providing “on the job” training and inductions to support our energetic housekeeping team.
- Briefing team members providing updates and key OHS updates.
- Logging lost property; assisting with guests requests and resolving guest complaints.
