About the Role
As a Coordinator, you will:
- Lead and mentor your team to deliver high-quality care.
- Work closely with management to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Engage with families, school staff, and the community to create a welcoming environment.
- Contribute ideas and feedback in a workplace where your voice matters.
The role offers a balanced roster totaling 35 hours per week with an additional 3 hours educational leader for the coordinator role. Regular hours of work are Monday 6:30 am–9:30 am, Tuesday to Friday 6:30 am–9:00 am, and Monday to Friday 2:00 pm–6:00 pm. In addition, Coordinators attend management meetings each Tuesday from 9:30 am–11:30 am and are allocated 2 hours per week to undertake Educational Leader responsibilities.
Essential Requirements:
- Certificate 3 in Children's Services or equivalent qualification or willingness to complete
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
- Child Protection certificate
- Food Handling certificate
- Experience in OOSH or childcare coordination role
- Previous team leadership experience in childcare setting
- Legal right to work in Australia
- Ability to pass background checks as required for childcare positions
- Geccko Training - Foundations of child safety
Desirable:
- Experience using OWNA
- Previous Educational Leader experience
