The Menuganna Junior Ranger Program is learning through Country - strengthening young people’s identity, connection to culture and community, and future pathways. Guided by relationships, respect and cultural knowledge, the program brings young people together with experienced colleagues, Rangers, Elders, schools, and community.
The Junior Ranger Facilitator contributes to planning and facilitates culturally grounded learning experiences for young people on Country and in schools. As an educator, mentor, relationship builder and cultural practitioner, the Facilitator supports young people to build cultural knowledge, confidence, belonging and responsibility. The role works closely with young people, families, Aboriginal knowledge holders, schools and community partners to support culturally secure, engaging and responsive delivery.
This is an Aboriginal funded position; applicants need to provide confirmation of Aboriginality if successful.
