The Prospect

As a Senior Interior Designer, you'll lead the design development and delivery of multiple projects while balancing creativity, technical excellence and commercial outcomes.





You'll be trusted to build strong stakeholder relationships, guide project teams and deliver innovative design solutions that enhance the way people live, connect and experience spaces.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership

- Lead projects from concept through to completion

- Drive project outcomes, timelines and design quality

- Deliver innovative and commercially successful design solutions

- Manage stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle

Design & Delivery

- Develop design concepts, presentations and documentation

- Create high-quality interior environments aligned with project objectives

- Influence key design decisions and user experience outcomes

- Maintain design excellence and industry best practice

Collaboration & Mentorship

- Work closely with architects, consultants and project teams

- Present design recommendations to stakeholders

- Mentor and support Junior Designers

- Share technical expertise and contribute to team development

Strategic Contribution

- Support the development of design standards and systems

- Contribute to the evolution of the organisation's design vision

- Assist in growing a high-performing design function

About You

You're an experienced Interior Designer who thrives on creating exceptional spaces, leading projects and bringing ideas to life.

You enjoy collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, mentoring others and balancing creative thinking with practical project delivery.





Essential Requirements

- Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or equivalent

- 5+ years' experience delivering interior design projects

- Experience leading projects from concept through to construction

- Advanced Revit capability

- Strong technical documentation skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Highly Regarded

- Mixed-use project experience

- SketchUp, Enscape or similar visualisation software

- Experience mentoring junior team members

- Knowledge of Australian building standards and construction processes
