About the role

As the Operations Manager at Whitsunday Escape, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of this dynamic organisation. Based in the beautiful Whitsundays in the coastal town of Airlie Beach, QLD, this full-time position will see you responsible for managing a team and ensuring the smooth running of all operational activities.

What you'll be doing

- Oversee the daily operations, including managing the fleet, staff, inventory, and logistics

- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction

- Liaise with various stakeholders, including investors, suppliers, and internal teams

- Identify and address operational issues, implementing corrective actions as needed

- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business

- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and safety standards

What we're looking for

- Substantial experience (5+ years) in a similar operations management role,



preferably within the marine tourism industry

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement

- Thorough understanding of operations management principles and best practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
