Your new companyJoin a leading Defence consultancy supporting a major Commonwealth Defence capability program focused on critical communications, identification and cryptographic modernisation initiatives. Working within a highly specialised program environment, you will contribute to the enhancement and sustainment of mission-critical capabilities supporting Defence and allied interoperability outcomes.
Your new roleAs a Systems Engineer, you will provide specialist engineering support across capability development, test and evaluation, risk management, stakeholder engagement and lifecycle management activities. You will work closely with Defence, industry partners, coalition stakeholders and technical subject matter experts to support the delivery of complex capability outcomes.Systems engineering support across complex Defence capability programsPlanning, coordinating and managing trials and test activitiesConducting operational effectiveness and suitability assessmentsSupporting certification, acceptance into service and lifecycle activitiesDeveloping technical artefacts, management plans and engineering documentationManaging technical risks,
issues and dependenciesSupporting multi-domain integration and interoperability outcomesProviding specialist advice to project teams and senior stakeholdersSupporting governance, reporting and program delivery activities
What you'll need to succeedSignificant Systems Engineering experience within Defence or complex government environmentsExperience supporting capability acquisition, sustainment or modernisation programsStrong stakeholder engagement skills across Defence, Government and IndustryExperience with test and evaluation planning and executionProven ability to manage technical risks and engineering documentationUnderstanding of Defence engineering frameworks and governanceProject or program management experience will be highly regardedCurrent NV1 Security Clearance (minimum) required
