About the Role

As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading projects from design development through documentation and construction support. You will work closely with our offshore production teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

You will become a trusted advisor to our clients and provide technical leadership to both local and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead architectural projects through documentation and delivery phases.

- Act as the primary client contact for allocated projects.

- Coordinate project programmes, deliverables and resources.

- Review architectural documentation to ensure quality and compliance.

- Provide technical direction and mentorship to project teams.

- Coordinate with consultants and project stakeholders.

- Identify project risks and proactively resolve issues.

- Maintain project budgets, timelines and resource allocation.

- Drive continuous improvement of documentation standards and workflows.

- Support business development activities and strengthen client relationships.

- Contribute to the growth and development of Obelisk's delivery systems.

About You

You'll be a confident communicator who enjoys taking ownership and leading teams.

You'll ideally have:





- Registered Architect (or eligible for registration) in Australia.

- 8+ years' architectural experience.

- Strong experience delivering commercial, residential, education, health or mixed-use projects.

- Extensive Revit proficiency is a must.

- Excellent understanding of Australian construction documentation and NCC requirements.

- Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant teams.

- Outstanding communication and client management skills.

- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

- Highly organised with excellent problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable Experience

- Experience working with distributed or offshore project teams.

- BIM coordination and management experience.

- Understanding of QA/QC systems and documentation standards.

- Experience improving project delivery processes.
