Armstrong Flooring is one of Australia’s oldest and leading distributors of hard flooring for both commercial and residential markets. Operating in Australia since the 1960’s, Armstrong Flooring is Australia’s only manufacturer of commercial vinyl flooring at its Braeside manufacturing facility, with national Australian and New Zealand sales teams. Having recently been purchased by a well known Australian family, the business is now undergoing a major digital transformation during a period of rapid growth in the Australian and Recent Zealand flooring market on its journey to be a technology driven company.

The Role

Reporting to the IT Manager, this newly created role will play a key part in supporting and enhancing Armstrong Flooring’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O;) platform. Working alongside an experienced and supportive IT team, you will gain exposure to finance, manufacturing, warehousing, inventory, procurement, sales, logistics, reporting, security, and system administration processes while helping ensure the ERP platform remains stable, well supported, and continuously improving.

This role is ideal for someone with 2-4 years of experience in ERP, application support, business systems, or a related IT role who is looking to build a long-term career in Microsoft Dynamics, business applications, and functional consultancy. You will receive mentoring from experienced functional and technical specialists,



together with opportunities for Microsoft training and certification.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the first point of contact for D365 Finance & Operations user enquiries and support requests.

- Triage, investigate, and resolve routine ERP issues, escalating complex matters where required.

- Guide users through business processes and transactions to support effective system usage and adoption.

- Prepare and execute functional, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

- Log, track, and validate defects, enhancements, and change outcomes.

- Develop and maintain functional documentation, user guides, and knowledge articles.

- Support user training, onboarding, and knowledge transfer activities.

- Assist with user administration, role security reviews, and master data validation.

- Support system releases, environment validation, and audit activities.

- Contribute to ERP enhancements, business improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.

About You

You are a motivated and technically curious professional who enjoys solving problems, supporting users, and learning how business systems drive operational outcomes. You are equally comfortable working with people, processes, and technology, and are looking for a role that provides genuine career progression into ERP functional consulting and enterprise applications.

You are organised, analytical, and proactive,



with a strong desire to develop your expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and broader Microsoft business technologies.

What You Will Bring

- 2-4 years' experience in an ERP, business systems, application support, service desk, or related IT role.

- Experience supporting business applications within a corporate environment.

- Experience assisting users with system, process, or technical enquiries.

- Experience performing system testing, quality assurance, or User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

- Experience maintaining documentation, procedures, training materials, or knowledge base articles.

- Demonstrated ability to analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.

- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, or similar enterprise business applications.

- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.

- A genuine desire to build a career in ERP systems, Microsoft business applications, and functional consultancy.
