About the Role
The Claims Domain Architect provides specialist architecture expertise and advisory services to support the client’s Claims System Modernisation Program and broader Salesforce transformation initiatives. Working collaboratively with business stakeholders, delivery teams, enterprise architects, platform teams and implementation partners, the role contributes to the evolution of the Claims domain architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives, enterprise architecture principles and transformation roadmaps.

The role provides architecture guidance across Claims initiatives to support business outcomes. Representing the Claims domain in architecture governance forums, the position contributes to cross-domain design reviews and works closely with peer domain architects and Salesforce platform teams to drive consistency, reduce duplication, optimise platform capabilities and support a well-governed, high-performing Salesforce ecosystem.

Key accountabilities

Claims Domain Architecture & Modernisation

- Represent the Claims domain across the Claims Modernisation Program, providing architectural guidance and domain expertise to support the transition to Salesforce.

- Develop and maintain the Claims domain architecture, target-state roadmaps and transition strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, enterprise architecture principles and technology direction.

Salesforce Architecture & Platform Stewardship

- Provide architectural guidance across Salesforce Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, OmniStudio and associated Salesforce capabilities.

- Work closely with Salesforce Platform teams to support platform governance, performance, sustainability and capability optimisation while minimising technical debt and unnecessary customisation.





Enterprise Governance & Cross-Domain Collaboration

- Represent the Claims domain in architecture governance forums, design reviews and enterprise architecture discussions.

Solution Design, Assurance & Delivery Support

- Provide architecture guidance and design assurance across Claims initiatives, ensuring solutions align with business requirements, enterprise standards and platform guardrails.

Business Capability, Integration & Data Architecture

- Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives and business requirements into sustainable technology solutions.

- Support architecture activities related to claims management, injury management, return-to-work and customer engagement capabilities.

- Define and promote integration, information and data architecture practices across Salesforce, MuleSoft, AWS and enterprise platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance, privacy and security requirements.

Risk Management, Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement

- Identify architecture risks, technical debt, strategic dependencies and platform impacts, providing recommendations to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation.

- Build effective relationships across business, technology, architecture, delivery and vendor teams, acting as a trusted architecture advisor within the Claims domain.

- Identify opportunities to improve platform utilisation, simplify solution designs,



increase automation and leverage emerging Salesforce capabilities and industry best practices to support continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements of the position

Essential

- Demonstrated experience leading architecture strategy for large-scale business and technology transformation programs.

- Solid experience with Salesforce platforms, including Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud and OmniStudio.

- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies (TOGAF or equivalent).

- Experience developing target-state architectures, transition roadmaps, capability models and architecture artefacts that support strategic business outcomes.

Highly Desirable

- Experience within workers' compensation, insurance, claims management, injury management, return-to-work or regulatory environments.

- Experience supporting Salesforce-based transformation or claims modernisation initiatives.

- Experience designing solutions using Salesforce, MuleSoft, AWS and enterprise integration platforms.

Qualifications

- Enterprise Architecture certification (TOGAF or equivalent) highly desirable.
