We’re looking for Schedulers to join our team! There are vacancies for 12-month fixed term contracts.
As a Scheduler, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our services have the right people in the right place at the right time. You’ll coordinate staff rosters, fill vacant shifts, respond to changes, and work closely with operational teams to keep our services running smoothly.
Our Scheduling Team operates across the following business hours:
Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 7:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
Public Holidays: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Schedulers may work across these operating hours as part of a rostered team.

About Your Role
This role will work closely with relevant stakeholders to effectively manage the day-to-day operational rosters, including planning for leave and filling of shifts, to support Scope to mobilise a skilled and capable workforce to empower our clients to belong and thrive, now and into the future, sustainably.
You will contribute your knowledge and experience to:
- Working with Frontline Leadership,
Enabling Functions and other relevant stakeholders to support the Service Delivery teams for your assigned operational area/s to deploy their workforces to meet client service delivery needs
- Supporting Service Delivery teams to ensure that leave planning and shift filling is productive, effective and compliant with relevant legal, regulatory, industrial and process requirements
- Identifying and appropriately sharing opportunities for improvement to how we mobilise our operational workforce to provide safe, quality, empowering and sustainable services to our clients.
Your Key Focus
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to support Service Delivery team/s to manage operational staffing replacement in alignment with relevant legal, regulatory, industrial, policy and process requirements
- Accurately translate master roster/s into efficient, effective and compliant operational rosters; identifying and appropriately addressing or escalating issues and/or opportunities
- Work collaboratively to implement the advance shift filling process to achieve coverage of staff vacancies; advocating advanced leave planning across Operations to support service continuity.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders, partnering to achieve outcomes
You will ideally have existing rostering experience and some familiarity with associated tools, be organised, able to manage competing priorities and be flexible and adaptable. Above all your positive, can-do attitude sets you apart.
