Role Details

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Underground Grader Operator to support the safe and efficient maintenance of underground roadways.

You will play a key role in maintaining safe access and haulage routes across the underground operation.

This is a residential only position, based in Broken Hill.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Operate underground grader to maintain haul roads, decline, and access areas.

- Ensure roads are safe, well-drained, and compliant with site standards.

- Conduct pre-start inspections, report defects, and complete basic equipment maintenance.

- Work closely with mining crews, supervisors, and maintenance teams.

- Follow all safety procedures, policies, and legislative requirements.

What You Will Bring





- Proven experience operating graders

- Current manual driver’s licence

- Grader ticket or VOC

- Strong understanding of underground traffic management and ventilation requirements

- Ability to work safely and autonomously under minimal supervision

- Good communication and hazard identification skills
