About the role

The Graduate Project Manager supports the planning, coordination and delivery of GTT's fabrication projects, working closely with the Senior Project Manager and the wider Projects team. This role is designed for someone who has recently completed, or is currently completing, a relevant qualification and is looking to build a career in project management within an innovative, fast-growing manufacturing environment. The role provides hands-on exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle, with structured mentoring and a clear pathway toward a Project Manager position.

Key responsibilities

- Support the development of project execution plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets and resource allocations, under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager.
- Assist in coordinating with the Production Management team to track manufacturing progress against project plans.
- Help maintain accurate project documentation, including scope of works, variations, and client and trade correspondence.
- Support monitoring of project budgets and expenses, flagging variances to the Senior Project Manager.
- Assist with collating data and preparing monthly progress reports for senior management.
- Coordinate meeting schedules, minutes and follow-up actions for project stakeholders.
- Liaise with trades and suppliers under supervision, building communication and negotiation skills.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by helping identify and document learnings from project delivery.




- Support quality assurance and safety compliance checks in line with GTT's policies and industry regulations.
- Shadow senior team members in client-facing interactions to build stakeholder management experience.

About you

- Currently completing, or recently completed, a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- A genuine interest in construction and advanced manufacturing, with a strong willingness to learn.
- Positive written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- An adaptable and entrepreneurial spirit, keen to contribute fresh ideas and bring change to the construction industry.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
