Semrad is a leading Australian distributor of industrial instrumentation, process control and monitoring solutions.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team in a dispatch role.

This role would be well suited to a university student who requires flexibility in a job. It would be ideal for someone looking to enter the field of logistics, electrical trade or engineering and seeking some experience. On-the-job training is provided.

The position is casual, approximately 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility around days and hours. Permanent part-time work would also be considered for the right person.

Dispatch tasks will include:

- Open and document inventory received from suppliers

- Cross-check inventory against purchase orders and documentation

- Pick items to fulfil order requirements

- Pack prepared items for shipment, including packaging and labelling

- Arrange shipment of packed items





- Prepare and maintain accurate records of items picked, packed and dispatched

- Send shipment notifications to customers

- Track incoming and outgoing shipments to provide status updates, when necessary

- Maintain an organised dispatch area

- Assist with other areas of the business as required

- Physically able to lift and pack equipment (some equipment is heavy)
