A listed business is looking for a Shared Services Manager to take ownership of its Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This is a hands-on leadership role with real visibility across the finance team - you'll set the standard for how the transactional finance engine runs, and you'll have the mandate to sharpen process, lift performance, and develop your people.

It's a role that rewards someone who leads from the front. Whether you're an established Shared Services Manager or a strong AP/AR team leader ready to make the step up, what matters is that you know how to run a high-volume function well and bring your team with you.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the AP and AR teams, setting clear priorities and lifting capability
Own end-to-end transactional processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and controls
Drive process improvement across the shared services function
Manage supplier and customer relationships, resolving escalations effectively
Report on key metrics - DSO, ageing,



payment runs - and act on the numbers
Partner with the broader finance team to support month-end and wider commercial goals

About You
You're a natural people leader who's run - or is ready to run - an AP/AR function in a sizeable business. You bring strong technical grounding in transactional finance, a process-improvement mindset, and the confidence to hold standards while developing your team. Exposure to a listed or large-corporate setting is a plus, but drive and the right leadership instinct matter most.
