About the role

Gibson Dentistry is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team in Traralgon, Victoria. This is a casual role, the right applicant may have the option of ongoing employment with the option to transition to part time.

What you'll be doing
Answering Patient telephone calls
Assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures
Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments
Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are well-stocked
Greeting and welcoming patients, and providing excellent customer service
Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Ensuring the dental practice adheres to all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within the dental industry is preferred, but not required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting
Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and equipment




A passion for providing high-quality patient care and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Adaptable and adaptable, with the ability to work well as part of a team
