La Porchetta Ballarat is looking for a skilled and passionate Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team.

We are a busy, well-established Italian restaurant known for quality food, consistency, and great service.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook Italian dishes including pasta, mains, and shared meals
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
Follow food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards at all times
Assist with prep, stock rotation, and kitchen cleanliness
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Support the Head Chef and kitchen team as required

Requirements
Previous experience as a Chef or Cook (Italian cuisine preferred)
Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Flexible availability including nights and weekends
