Experienced Stainless Steel Welder / Fabricator

We are a general engineering workshop specialising in manufacturing, modification, repair and installation work across a variety of industries. We are a quality-focused workshop that takes pride in producing high-standard stainless fabrication and welding.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Welder/Fabricator with excellent TIG welding and fabrication skills, particularly with light gauge stainless steel and food-grade applications.

This role is best suited to a qualified boilermaker/fabricator or a highly experienced TIG welder with strong stainless steel experience.

The Role

The successful applicant will be involved in:

• Stainless steel fabrication and welding

• Manufacturing, modifications and repairs

• Workshop and occasional installation work

• Working from drawings as well as problem solving on custom jobs

• A variety of custom fabrication work,



suited to someone who enjoys problem solving and wide-ranging jobs rather than repetitive production work

• Taking ownership of jobs and managing work from fabrication through to completion

Skills & Experience

• Solid TIG welding skills

• Experience welding light gauge stainless steel (approx. 1–3mm)

• Experience with food-grade stainless steel welding

• Ability to produce clean, high-quality welds suitable for visible or hygienic applications

• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Solid problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Reliability and a strong work ethic

Additional Information

• Full-time or part-time position available for the right candidate

• Workshop located in Dandenong, Victoria

• Applicants may be required to complete a TIG welding test
