Full service restaurant, cafe and licensed dining.

We are looking to immediately fill a permanent full time position of Junior Chef.

The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include but are not limited to:
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes as per our standards
Assisting in creating menus with flair and innovation having regard to our stock, season and patron preferences
Monitoring stock level, preservation and rotation/ordering accordingly to ensure minimal wastage
Assisting and training kitchen staff in understanding dish preparation, ingredients and cooking techniques
Aiding in the selection and training of kitchen staff
Managing kitchen staff if required
Ensuring health regulations are met at all times by all kitchen staff




Ensure patron satisfaction & experience by delivering dishes to expectation monitoring quality at all times

We require the following:
Possess no less than 2 years of experience in a similar role if not qualified
Be consistent and able to work well in a team
Be able to perform well under pressure
Cert III or/and cert IV in Commercial Cookery/Kitchen Management (preferred)
Be consistent and able to work well in a team
Be able to perform well under pressure

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $79,500.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
Kangaroo Point QLD 4169: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:
Restaurant experience: 1 year (Required)
