About You

You will be a detail-focused, cooperative professional who can connect operational activity with coal quality and logistics outcomes. You enjoy working with data, investigating issues, communicating clearly with stakeholders and finding practical ways to keep coal moving safely and efficiently through the value chain.

This role may suit candidates from a range of coal industry backgrounds, including experienced geology, coal quality laboratory, CHPP or washplant operations, logistics, train scheduling or vessel scheduling.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Degree qualification in Process Engineering, Engineering, Geology, Mining or a related discipline.
Experience in open cut mining operations within the coal industry.
Exposure to coal quality, coal preparation, stockpile management, logistics or product scheduling.
Ideally,



experience working in or alongside a CHPP environment.
Solid attention to detail and the ability to investigate and resolve issues or anomalies.
Explicit communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Sound problem-solving capability and a continuous improvement mindset.
A strong commitment to safety as a way of life.
