HC Local Driver – Steel Deliveries

Looking for steady local work, quality equipment and reliable weekly hours?

Rogers Transport is seeking an experienced HC Driver for a permanent steel-delivery role based at our customer’s site in Acacia Ridge. You’ll operate a well-maintained automatic truck, completing local deliveries of tube steel using Prairie and Flat Top trailers.

This is a hands-on driving position offering consistent work, regular overtime and the backing of an experienced transport team.

About the Role

Your day will include:
Completing local deliveries of tube steel
Loading and preloading trailers for scheduled runs
Securing loads using ratchet straps
Operating Prairie and Flat Top trailers
Completing vehicle pre-starts and transport documentation
Working safely around customer sites and loading areas
Maintaining a qualified standard with customers





This operation uses ratchet straps for load restraint—no dogs or chains.

What We’re Looking For

You will need:
A current HC licence
Previous HC driving experience
A sound understanding of load restraint
A strong safety focus and reliable work history
Positive communication and customer-service skills
The ability to complete the physical requirements of the role

Experience transporting steel or operating Prairie and Flat Top trailers will be highly regarded. However, we also encourage experienced HC drivers with suitable load-restraint experience to apply.
