Role details
The Oral Health at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Oral Health Dental Therapist to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
The successful candidate will enjoy the benefits of working as an Oral Health Therapist within a multidisciplinary team. You will have the chance to utilise your skills in both the Therapy and Hygiene fields working on adults and children within the hospital and school clinics.
About the Team
The Oral Health team provides general, specialist and emergency dental treatment to eligible people within the MHHS area. Our Dental Clinics are based at the Mackay Base Hospital, Proserpine Hospital and Bowen Hospital and we provide scheduled visits to Clermont, Collinsville and Sarina.
The School Dental Service provides oral health care to all eligible children throughout the MHHS district.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
