Key responsibilities include:
Managing and controlling the daily retail operations of the Gelatissimo store to ensure effective service and achievement of operational objectives.
Determining product ranges, stock levels and customer service standards based on sales performance, seasonal demand and customer preferences.
Selecting, training, rostering, supervising and evaluating the performance of retail staff.
Monitoring gelato, beverages, packaging and other inventory levels and coordinating purchasing, supplier orders and inventory control.
Monitoring sales, labour expenses, stock costs, wastage and other operating expenses against established budgets and financial targets.
Overseeing point-of-sale operations, cash handling, banking, daily reconciliations and the maintenance of stock and financial transaction records.
Implementing pricing, product display, promotional and local marketing activities in accordance with franchise and business requirements.
Ensuring attractive product presentation, accurate product information and consistent customer service standards.
Responding to customer enquiries, feedback and complaints and implementing measures to improve customer satisfaction.




Planning staffing and stock requirements for weekends, public holidays, local events and periods of high customer traffic.
Establishing and implementing operational procedures to improve sales, productivity, stock control and service efficiency.
Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, hygiene, franchise and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Safeguarding cash, stock, equipment and other business assets through appropriate security and loss-prevention procedures.

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:
At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar retail management role (or part time equivalent).
Hold at least a Diploma of Hospitality Management or an equivalent relevant qualification.
Strong leadership and staff supervision skills
Well-developed communication and customer service abilities
Good organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail and hospitality workplace
Sound understanding of stock control, sales performance and daily operational management

Pay: $85,000.00 per year
