An established Australian manufacturer is seeking an experienced MC Driver to join its transport operation based in Redbank.

This is a strong chance for an experienced driver looking for consistent hours, a competitive hourly rate and ongoing work, with the potential to transition into a permanent position after 3–6 months.

The Role

You will be responsible for transporting manufactured construction related products across long-haul runs.

Typical freight includes ugly freight, with loads varying depending on customer and project requirements.

You will operate a combination of:
Semi-trailers
Extendable trailers
B-Doubles
Double Road Trains

Hours
Approximately 40–50+ hours per week
Standard hours approximately 6:30am–3:00pm
Start/finish times will vary for long-haul runs
Weekend work is uncommon, although occasional Saturdays may be required when returning from longer runs

What We're Looking For
Current MC licence, manual licence / confident manual driving experience




Demonstrated long-haul driving experience – essential
Experience operating B-Doubles and/or Road Trains
Reliable with a valuable driving record
Professional attitude when dealing with customers and site personnel

What's On Offer
$47 to $50/hr + applicable long-haul kilometre allowance
40–50+ hours available per week

Cents per km allowance for travel over 250km
