The Company:

The Role:

As Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the servicing, repair and maintenance of the company's mobile and fixed plant equipment as well as fault-finding & diagnostics to assist the prevention of breakdowns or unexpected down-time of machinery. You will be required to provide leadership, guidance and decision making for workshop operations, and manage fitters and workshop staff to ensure delivery outcomes within timeframe and budget.

Position Requirements:
Schedule maintenance and service of company machinery, allocating resources to complete tasks.
Identify maintenance and scheduling obstructions and influences disruptive to project advancement, and act accordingly with Policy and Procedure.
Ability to liaise with all Key Stakeholders, both internal and external including Suppliers,



Sales Representatives and Sub-Contractors.
Monitor and collate maintenance information, and maintain historical records involving vehicles, and plant machinery and associated equipment.
Negotiate the pricing of required purchases with Sales Representatives for parts and services with external Stakeholders to assist with Company budget constraints.
Initiate and plan workshop team meetings and provide leadership and guidance for the workshop operations business group.
Robust understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
Ability to work in conjunction with Management of other divisions in the company and prioritise workload to meet project outcomes in projected timeframes.

Technical Competencies:
10 years' experience in a workshop environment, specifically with heavy plant machinery.
Diesel Fitter (Trade Qualified)
Current Drivers Licence and HR Licence.
Rapport building skills and ability to multi-task.
Small engine experience (highly desired, but not essential)
