Seeking a driven and experienced Dry Fire Technician to enhance our team and serve our client base in SEQ and Regional QLD. Successful candidate can demonstrate a sound ability to fault find & maintain existing FIP and EWIS installations, reporting valuable level of detail on works performed and required, self motivate and organize for workplace activities, fit in with and show up for your assignments as part of a larger team.

Responsibilities:
Install and commission fire systems in accordance with relevant Australian standards.
Test dry fire services to align with applicable Australian Standards.
Program fire panels and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Primarily work within SEQ, on occasion being required to work in Regional QLD.
Read and interpret plans and instructions accurately.
Work in confined spaces and at heights if & when required.
Collaborate as part of a team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
General Requirements:
Valid white card (general construction induction card).
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the fire industry.
A current driver licence.
Open cabler licence.
Electrical licence; Full is advantageous, Restricted is minimum.
QBCC portables and passive inspection qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
EAHL license is advantageous but not essential.
Sound knowledge of Australian Standards (AS 1670 series, AS2293, AS1851-2012).
Positive/proficient customer rapport
Strong adherence to WHS procedures
Capacity to work autonomously
Willingness to travel to regional locations on occasion
Availability to fullfill spot on the after-hours callout roster rotation
Subject to pre-employment screening and criminal history check
