About the role
We are seeking a reliable and practical Workshop Hand to join our manufacturing team. You will be involved in the full production process — from initial material preparation through to final assembly and dispatch of completed projects.
Key responsibilities
Manufacture projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and timely completion
Use hand and power tools safely and competently
Cut, prepare and process steel, aluminium and PVC materials
Carry out final assemblies of products
Perform light to medium steel fabrication
Assist with packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch
Maintain a clean, organised and protected workshop setting
Follow work instructions, quality standards and WHS procedures
About you
Experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment is preferred
Competent with hand and power tools
Ability to accurately measure, cut and prepare materials
Welding experience (MIG/TIG/stick) is highly advantageous
Physically fit and able to handle workshop tasks
Reliable, hardworking and able to work both independently and as part of a small team
Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
