City Projects is a Sydney-based commercial construction and fitout company delivering projects across the commercial, residential, health and remedial construction sectors in NSW and Victoria. We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our construction team, providing technical support and site oversight across our active project sites.

What you will be doing
Interpreting and applying construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation, identifying discrepancies and proposing practical solutions
Determining construction methods, materials and quality standards for project delivery
Analysing site and structural conditions to inform practical engineering solutions
Carrying out site inspections and monitoring construction progress, workmanship, quality and compliance
Coordinating subcontractors, trades, suppliers and materials on day-to-day site activities
Acting as technical point of liaison between project managers, consultants,



subcontractors and suppliers on scheduling and technical matters
Preparing and maintaining technical site reports, RFIs, variations and progress documentation
Supporting project close-out — outstanding works, defects, rectification and handover

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent formally assessed engineering qualification and experience
Robust ability to read and apply construction drawings, plans and specifications
Practical understanding of construction methods, materials and site sequencing
Experience coordinating subcontractors and liaising with project stakeholders
Robust analytical, communication and problem-solving skills

Pay: $80,000.00 – $80,001.00 per year
