About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Construction Sales Representative with a “can-do” attitude to join our QLD Sales team based in Park Ridge. In this external sales role, you are our “sale closer” responsible for closing sales of ACO products on all types of construction projects through customers such as merchants and wholesalers, building and civil contractors, trade sub-contractors, councils, government departments, public utilities and key accounts.

About the Role

You will pursue project specifications, quotes or enquiries from customers with the aim to close orders for ACO construction products. You will be required to seek current business opportunities while generating more sales from existing customers while utilising the resources provided by the internal sales team to maximise all opportunities for sales.



You will also be accountable for meeting the sales targets and budgeted profit margins.

The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in construction sales
Ability to understand basic engineering principles and interpret construction drawings.
Excellent time management and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to influence others and create and maintain long term internal and external relationships.

Tertiary qualifications in the sales or business related fields would be advantageous. Some regional travel may be required.
