Bookings Clerk / Freight Operations Support (Labour Hire)

GetCareers is currently recruiting for a Bookings Clerk to join a well-established business in the transport and freight industry. This is an excellent chance for someone who enjoys a busy and wide-ranging work environment, with the potential for ongoing or permanent employment.

While the role includes some administration, this is not a traditional office administration position. You’ll be actively involved in taking bookings, assisting customers, communicating with drivers, and helping coordinate freight deliveries to keep everything running smoothly and on schedule.

Employment Details

Location: HarveyEmployment Type: Labour Hire – CasualHours: 4–5 days per week, 6–7.5 hours per day

About the Role

As a Bookings Clerk, duties may include:
Answering phone calls and handling enquiries
Taking and processing bookings
Providing friendly and professional customer service
Assisting drivers with freight
Filing and general administration




Supporting day-to-day operations
Forklift duties, if appropriately licensed

A positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask

Eligibility Criteria
Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid work rights)
Must hold a current Driver's Licence and have access to reliable transport
Previous experience in customer service, administration, transport, or logistics is advantageous but not essential
Forklift Licence is advantageous but not essential
