Join a well-established food distribution business and become part of a high-performing warehouse team. This is an ongoing opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Receiving Assistant with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of inbound stock processes.

Working Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:06pm, you’ll have your afternoons free and the opportunity to move into a permanent position for the right person.

The Role

You’ll play an important part in ensuring stock is received accurately and efficiently, working closely with the warehouse and operational teams.

Your responsibilities will include
Receiving and checking incoming stock
Cross-checking deliveries against purchase orders and documentation
Entering and recording stock accurately into warehouse systems
Identifying and investigating discrepancies, damages and missing stock
Maintaining an organised and compliant receiving area
Investigating stock variances and supporting stock control processes
Working closely with warehouse and operational teams
Contributing to continuous improvement across receiving and inventory processes

What We’re Looking For





We’re looking for someone who takes pride in getting things right and can work confidently in a busy warehouse environment. You’ll ideally have:
Previous experience in warehouse receiving and/or inventory control
Essential: experience working in a cold storage warehouse
Experience within food distribution, FMCG or another high-volume warehouse environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confidence using warehouse or inventory management systems
Positive communication and the ability to work well as part of a team
A reliable, skilled and committed approach to work
A genuine interest in securing a long-term opportunity
