Our client is seeking a Yard Hand / Forklift Operator to join the team in a long-term role. This role located in Canning Vale offers the potential for permanency as a member of the manufacturing and production crew.

You'll have the opportunity to work in a friendly, family-oriented environment, contributing to the success of a well-established leader in the water storage container industry. Duties:
Forklift operation to safely move large plastic water tanks around the yard / workshop and to load delivery trucks
Loading, securing and restraining of loads onto trucks or trailers (some oversized) for pick up or protected transport to customer premises
Assist with inventory management and stock takes when required
Unloading trucks or containers of materials for storing in warehouse or delivery to workshop
Assisting and liaising with truck drivers and customers
General yard duties, general labouring / housekeeping duties

The working week is Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm (48 hours per week). The rate of pay is a flat rate of $37.38 per hour.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:




Previous experience as a Yard Hand or Forklift Operator in a manufacturing or production workplace. A high risk LF licence is essential with experience in ugly freight.
Must be reliable with the ability to work a adaptable schedule, including occasional early starts (5 or 5:30 am) to meet the needs of the business.
Drivers license and own transport is essential.
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities
Pass a drug & alcohol test prior to commencement.
