About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder / Fabricator to join the D&C; Storage team in Sydney. You will be responsible for welding, metal fabrication, assembly, modification, and repair work associated with the company's operations. Key Responsibilities
Perform welding and fabrication work using appropriate welding techniques and equipment.
Measure, cut, prepare, fit, and assemble metal components according to drawings and job specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, plans, and work instructions.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components to required specifications.
Carry out welding repairs, modifications, and maintenance work as required.
Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
Prepare metal surfaces and components for welding, fabrication, and finishing.




Identify and resolve fabrication and welding issues during production.
Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in a safe and serviceable condition.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Work closely with other tradespeople, supervisors, and management to complete projects within required timeframes.

About You
Relevant experience in welding and metal fabrication.
Ability to perform welding and fabrication work accurately and safely.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
Good knowledge of welding equipment, fabrication tools, and workshop practices.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Positive problem-solving and practical mechanical skills.
Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Relevant welding/fabrication qualification or trade certificate is desirable.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to full-time employment.
