Role Description This is a full time, on-site Solar and Battery Sales role based in Melbourne. The role involves engaging with residential and commercial customers, understanding their energy usage, and recommending suitable solar and battery solutions. Daily tasks include conducting consultations, preparing quotes and proposals, explaining system perks and financing options, and following up on leads provided by marketing or generated through networking.

The sales professional will coordinate with design and installation teams to ensure accurate system specifications, manage the sales pipeline in CRM tools,



and maintain high standards of customer service from first contact through post-installation follow-up. The role also includes staying current with industry trends, product updates, and regulatory requirements to provide accurate information to customers.

Qualifications
Knowledge of Solar technologies and solutions, including Solar Power, Solar Systems, and the Solar Industry.
Proven sales experience in technical or energy-related products, with strong skills in consultative selling and closing.
Ability to explain technical information clearly, build trust with customers, and maintain long-term relationships.
Comfort using CRM and basic office software to manage leads, quotes, and customer records.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a focus on customer service and ethical sales practices.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Melbourne Victoria for site visits and customer meetings.
Background in solar, electrical, or energy markets is an advantage; relevant training or certifications in renewable energy are desirable.
