Role Description The TIG/MIG Welder is a full-time, in office role based in Sydney, NSW, responsible for welding and fabricating metal components used in roofing and cladding products. Daily tasks include setting up welding equipment, interpreting technical drawings, measuring and cutting materials, and performing TIG and MIG welding operations to meet production specifications.

The role involves inspecting welds for quality and structural integrity, following workplace health and safety procedures, and maintaining tools and machinery in good working order. The welder collaborates with production and warehouse teams to meet deadlines,



supports continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, and assists with general fabrication and assembly work as required.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong welding skills, including experience with Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding in a manufacturing or fabrication workplace.
Candidates should possess practical Arc Welding skills and be able to select appropriate welding techniques for different applications.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Materials commonly used in roofing and cladding, including steel and aluminum, and understand their properties and handling requirements.
Relevant trade qualification, welding certification, or equivalent on-the-job experience in metal fabrication is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, follow specifications, and use measuring tools accurately.
Commitment to safe work practices, familiarity with WHS regulations, and ability to use PPE correctly.
Strong attention to detail, reliable time management, and ability to work both independently and as part of a production team.
Experience in roofing, construction, or sheet metal fabrication will be considered an advantage.
