This is an opportunity for a senior architect with proven multi-residential experience who is interested in moving beyond traditional architectural practice to work on the client-side. Join a development team that is established and successful.
You will focus on the company’s own development portfolio and be part of the strategic, commercial and delivery decisions that influence each project.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing and developing architectural drawings and designs
Assessing design options against project, planning and commercial needs
Coordinating external architects, consultants and delivery partners
Reviewing consultant drawings, documentation and design packages
Identifying design, planning, technical and buildability issues
Supporting development applications and authority approvals
Monitoring design quality, programme and project requirements
Resolving design and coordination issues throughout the project lifecycle
About you
Registration as an Architect
Approximately seven or more years of post-registration experience
Strong architectural experience delivering multi-residential projects
Experience with high-density or mixed-use developments
A background as a Senior Architect, Project Architect or Architectural Design Manager
Experience across design development and construction documentation
Robust technical knowledge and an understanding of construction and buildability
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams
The ability to critically review drawings and identify potential project risks
Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders, consultants and delivery teams
A commercially aware and practical approach to architectural design
An interest in developing broader property and development expertise
