Senior Test Analyst – Payroll & HRIS

Sydney | Initial Two-Month Contract

CloudMarc is seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst with deep HR and payroll domain knowledge to support the integration of a new rostering module into an end-to-end ELMO Software platform.

This is a hands-on contract requiring someone who understands the complete roster-to-pay process and can confidently test complex payroll calculations, parallel pay runs and Australian award conditions.

Key responsibilities:
Test the integration of a new rostering module with the existing ELMO HR and payroll platform
Plan and execute functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing
Conduct parallel pay runs, reconciliation and payroll variance analysis
Validate roster-to-pay processes, time and attendance and employee data
Test awards, enterprise agreements, allowances, penalties, overtime, leave, deductions, tax and superannuation
Identify, document and manage defects through to resolution
Work closely with payroll, HR, technology and vendor stakeholders




Provide explicit testing progress, risk and defect reporting

Required experience:
Strong experience as a Senior Test Analyst across HRIS and payroll transformation projects
Comprehensive knowledge of Australian payroll processes
Demonstrated experience conducting parallel pay runs and reconciliation
Strong rostering, workforce management or time-and-attendance testing experience
Excellent knowledge of Australian Up-to-date Awards and award interpretation
Experience testing integrations across HR, payroll and rostering platforms
Robust stakeholder communication and defect-management skills
Sydney-based and available for an initial two-month contract

Experience with ELMO Software is highly desirable. Experience with comparable platforms such as Workday, UKG/Kronos, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors/ECP, ADP or Chris21 will also be considered where the candidate has strong Australian payroll expertise. Apply Now!
