This role is strategically significant to the future growth of Helix Services. We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude, able to prioritise their work and get things done. The successful candidate will be a team player, has an eye for detail and is dedicated to working safely and completing work on schedule.
This role requires someone to start immediately and is for a project that is about to commence near Lakes Entrance and requires the person to take this project to completion.
About the role:
You will be responsible for safe lifting and installation of piping and structural steel equipment.
About you, as a minimum:
Minimum 2 years experience in structural steel rigging
Be self-motivated
Be able to work as part of a team
Ability to work at heights
Experience using power tools
Experience installing chemset anchors
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team and follow instructions
Ability to prioritise competing demands and tasks
A current forklift ticket
Valid Australian driver’s Licence
Relevant dogman and riggers ticket (RB minimum)
EWP and scissor licence
C6 crane ticket (preferable but not essential)
Current ticket and experience in operating a telehandler (highly desirable)
Construction White Card
Working at heights (within 3 years)
Robust safety focus and a desire to enhance the site safety environment and culture
Fluent in written and verbal English
Pass a drug and alcohol test
