About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic (General) to join our busy and growing automotive workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles.
This is a full time position offering stable long-term employment in a professional workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles using scan tools and workshop equipment
Carry out routine servicing including oil changes, brakes, suspension, steering, and engine repairs
Repair and replace worn or faulty components
Conduct road tests to ensure vehicle safety and performance
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Follow workplace safety procedures and manufacturer specifications
Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to workshop supervisor or customers

Requirements
Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic (Automotive Technician)
Minimum 2–3 years post-qualification experience preferred
Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Experience working on a variety of makes and models
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Valuable attention to detail and time management
Valid driver’s licence
