Junior Receptionist – Electrical Company

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per annum + superannuation An established electrical company is seeking a friendly, organised and qualified Junior Receptionist to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their administration career and looking to gain valuable experience within a supportive, trades-based business.

The Role

As the first point of contact for the business, you will provide a welcoming and professional experience for customers, suppliers and contractors while supporting the wider office team with general administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
Greeting visitors, clients and contractors
Monitoring and responding to general email enquiries
Filing, scanning and maintaining accurate records
Ordering stationery and managing office supplies
Providing general administrative support to electricians and management
Maintaining a tidy and professional reception area

About You
Friendly,



confident and professional communication skills
Robust attention to detail and organisational ability
Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Able to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Previous reception, administration or customer service experience is desirable but not essential

Experience within the electrical, construction or trades industry would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided to the right person.
