Eaglehawk GP Clinic is a brand-new, modern general practice opening in the heart of Eaglehawk. We are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred healthcare in a welcoming and professional environment.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist who is friendly, organised, and passionate about providing exceptional customer service. This is an exciting chance to be part of establishing a recent practice and help create a positive experience for our patients from day one.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Your responsibilities will include
Greeting patients in a professional and welcoming manner
Managing appointments, bookings and recalls
Answering telephone enquiries and responding to emails
Processing patient billing, Medicare, DVA and EFTPOS transactions
Managing patient records and maintaining confidentiality
Managing incoming correspondence and medical records
Supporting daily administrative and practice operations




Assisting with accreditation and quality improvement activities when required

About You The successful applicant will have:
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist in General Practice (essential)
Experience using Best Practice software (highly desirable)
Knowledge of Medicare billing, Care Plans and Health Assessments
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Professional presentation and a positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
