Our client, a well-established organisation, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer or HVAC Drafter to join their team supporting diverse and significant projects in Canberra, NSW. This 12-month casual assignment offers the opportunity to work within a highly professional workplace contributing to complex mechanical services and HVAC design and drafting activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Support design and delivery of HVAC and mechanical services projects.
Produce and review detailed mechanical/HVAC drawings and technical documentation.
Develop and maintain Revit models and coordinate designs using Navisworks.
Assist design coordination across multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.
Review technical documentation, drawings, and specifications ensuring compliance with standards.
Support project phases from design through construction and refurbishment stages.
Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Maintain a solid focus on delivering accurate, high-quality work within project timelines.





Essential Criteria:
Active NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory.
Current residence in Canberra, ACT.
Background in mechanical engineering within building services (HVAC) OR HVAC/mechanical drafting experience with strong skills in Revit and Navisworks.
Demonstrated technical understanding of mechanical services and HVAC systems.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications accurately.
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality outputs.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Team player with ability to work collaboratively across project-focused environments.
