ICU Registrar (Unaccredited) – 2h from Sydney

Start: August 2026. Interviews are being scheduled now. This position is for doctors looking to build robust critical‑care experience in a supportive workplace while living in a beautiful region of NSW.

Role Structure – Critical Care Rotation
ICU – 6 months
Anaesthesia – 3 months
Emergency – 3 months

Clinical Exposure
Advanced life support & resuscitation
Arterial / central venous access
Thoracotomy & emergency procedures
Critical care patient management
Multidisciplinary ICU care

Hospital Overview

The hospital is the main acute‑care facility for the region, employs over 1,000 staff and offers Emergency, medical, surgical & orthopaedic services; ICU with high‑dependency and coronary care; Children's Ward and Maternity Unit; Regional Cancer Care Centre; Sub‑acute Mental Health Unit. It is undergoing a $500 million redevelopment, expanding services and facilities.

Requirements
MBBS or equivalent
AHPRA registration
Minimum 3 years experience as a Medical Officer
