Workforce International are seeking an experienced and reliable MR Driver to join the team in the Newcastle area. This is a casual position, offering a excellent prospect to work within an established and friendly team. This role has a strong view to permanency for the right candidate

About the Role:

38 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

$35.96/hour

Immediate start for the right candidate

Central Newcastle location

View to permanency for the right person

What you’ll be doing:
Safely operating and maintaining a range of MR vehicles to transport aluminium products
Adhering to all relevant road rules, regulations and safety protocols
Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles as required
Providing excellent customer service and on-time deliveries




Completing accurate documentation and trip logs
Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles

A successful candidate will:
Valid NSW MR Licence (or higher)
Experience in a similar driving role (experience in warehousing desired however not necessary)
Ability to pass pre-employment physical assessment (including D&A; screening)
Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently
Reliable, punctual and able to work a versatile schedule
