An exciting prospect exists for a Contracts Manager to suport a critical portfolio of commercial contracts across Health Support Services including facilities management, engineering services, security, linen, logistics and other business-critical support services.
This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for end-to-end procurement, contract strategy, supplier performance and commercial outcomes across a diverse and complex spend portfolio. You will play a key role in strengthening procurement capability, modernising contract management practices and driving long-term value across the organisation.
This is a 6 month contracting chance with hybrid working arrangement.
What you’ll be doing
Leading complex sourcing activities, tenders, negotiations and contract renewals
Managing high-value supplier relationships and contract performance outcomes
Driving value-for-money outcomes through strategic procurement and commercial optimisation
Reviewing and modernising legacy agreements while improving governance, compliance and risk management
Partnering with legal, finance, operations and senior leadership teams to deliver business-critical outcomes
Supporting the implementation of a structured contract management and supplier relationship management framework
Contributing to key transformation initiatives including contract and asset management system improvements
What we’re looking for
Significant experience managing complex procurement and contract portfolios end-to-end
Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management capability
Demonstrated success managing high-value service contracts and procurement programs
Experience developing and implementing category or procurement strategies
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
Experience identifying and mitigating commercial, operational and supply risk
A cooperative and pragmatic approach to working across diverse stakeholder groups
Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and deliver measurable value outcomes
